Customizing Output Documents

Every new Aqilla instance has a default set of output documents including:

  • Sales Invoice

  • Sales Credit Note

  • Self Billing Sales Invoice

  • Purchase Order

  • Debtor Statement

  • Remittance Advice Note

Output documents are generated by clicking on one of these icons (where available):

 Open all selected documents (PDF Reader Open with option selected).

 Save all selected documents in zip file (PDF Reader Save File option selected).

 E-mail selected documents (if possible - e.g. recipient e-mail address exists).

The layout of output documents can now be defined using LibreOffice(.odt) templates - which are uploaded to the Aqilla instance in question when finalised. Output document layout is defined using techniques similar to mail-merge in MS Word.

Customising output documents requires the involvement of an Aqilla Implementation Consultant.

Contact your Account Manager or Implementation Consultant if you would like a customised output document.

LibreOffice is free and easy to use. You can save money on implementation consultancy by defining new document layouts yourself using Libre Office and populating your document with sample data - for an Aqilla consultant to replace with Aqilla variables.
