Welcome to API help

The Aqilla REST API (Application Programming Interface) v2.5 is a web service that enables external applications to interact with Aqilla. This help is primarily for project team members who are integrating applications with Aqilla using the Aqilla REST API v2.5 (called Aqilla API in this help). Some knowledge of Aqilla is assumed and some knowledge of XML is assumed. You can use any programming language you like to interact with Aqilla through the Aqilla API - provided that you can generate compliant Aqilla API requests and field Aqilla API responses (e.g. parse responses from a successful or unsuccessful request). 

The Aqilla API was released at Aqilla build 1605 (May 2016) and replaces the Aqilla REST API v2.0 (to 2.4) with which it is backward compatible.

To get the most from this help you should have access to an Aqilla test instance rapi-aqdemo (ask your Aqilla consultant or account manager for logon details).
