This is a new selection parameter that filters accounts where there are no outstanding transactions greater or equal to the number of specified days.
Batch Printing or Emailing
The maximum number of documents, such as sales invoices and statements, that can be processed has been increased to 400 at any one time.
NatWest (RBS) Bankline Ad hoc Bulk Payment
This new bank payment format is supported for paying multiple accounts with a resulting single entry in the bank statement (Aqilla Single BACS payment method). The existing Bankline payment export format has been renamed to Bankline Standard Domestic. In other words, when paying hundreds or thousands of creditors the system now generates a single payment transaction making for more straightforward reconciliation.
XML REST API
A new option enables the list of valid VAT Rates (VAT Code and Description) to be queried so 3rd party systems integrated with Aqilla via the API can directly access the current VAT values in use at the time.
This enhancement provides for three additional, user-definable, Super Entity types with the ability to configure additional information specific to that type of entity.
Invoice Paid Date
To give better feedback to users working with sales or purchase invoices and who may not have full access to financial transactions within the Aqilla ledger itself, when an invoice has been fully paid, the Paid Date is now displayed as part of the original invoice document header view.
PDF Digital Certificates / Digital Signing
It is now possible to apply a digital certificate to any PDF document created by Aqilla. This can be of particular benefit when sending invoices or statements as a recipient of the document can check that the document has not been tampered with. The standard browser PDF viewers will not show the presence of a certificate, but these can be examined with products such as Adobe “Acrobat Reader DC”. To make the presence of a certificate more obvious it is also possible to modify templates to display a visual representation of a certificate or signature.
Aqilla Add-in Version 2020.12
The Aqilla Microsoft Excel Add-In now provides enhanced handling of uploaded documents.

Improvements
Custom Analysis Entities in the Additional Criteria tree of Ledger and Account Enquiries are displayed using their user-friendly names.
In views without the header band (document entry summary views, Enquiry views), the focus is no longer placed on the first parameter control. Previously using keyboard arrows to scroll through the result set could re-run the enquiry view if the focus was placed on the Enquiry Profile control.
Internal refactoring of the Account entity resulting in the Audit Viewer displaying changes of certain properties (VAT Area, Payment Method, Preset VAT) in a user-friendly way.
A number of enhancements and fixes to Custom Analysis Entities, including copying them from POs to GRNs and PIMs.
The paid date on invoices is set for historic transactions.
