Invoice Footer - VAT number not showing on printed document

This is usually because the VAT number has not been entered in Document Footer at Configuration > Companies as shown below:

The field VAT Registration' is not used on printed invoices by default. The Document Footer field is specifically designed to contain the VAT number and company number (and any other free text).
