Bank Statements
Bank Statements
You can import bank statements that you have downloaded from your bank into Aqilla if the statement format is supported by Aqilla (or if you convert your bank's format to a format supported by Aqilla). Details of supported bank statement formats are provided below.
You can upload bank statements at Automatic Bank Reconciliation and Bank Transactions. Also see Generating Bank Transactions from Statements
You should only attempt to convert files if you are are competent to do so. Note that MS Excel can corrupt bank files. For example, a concatenated sort code and account number - e.g. 12345612345678 - can be interpreted by MS Excel as a very long number and be stored using scientific notation (c.f. text). Aqilla Support cannot help you with conversion of files from one bank format to another (other than interpretation of this documentation).
