Roles

This function is used to grant permissions to roles and grant roles to people. A sample Role Edit view is shown below:

You can also grant roles to people at Reference > Personnel.

A user can have many roles and the user inherits the permissions associated with each role. This is normally on an additive basis.

As standard, Aqilla comes with an extensive list of roles. Each user must be assigned at least one role or they will have no permissions. All users must have the special roleuserto be able to log into Aqilla.

Permissions can only be maintained by Aqilla.
